General Contractor Superintendent

We are seeking a General Contractor Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Salary is negotiable.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Hospital Construction Experience Preferred
Minimum 10 Years of Experience in Construction
Minimum 5 Years of Experience as a Superintendent
Strong Leadership Qualities
Strong Negotiation Skills
Deadline and Detail-Oriented

Construction Project Engineer

We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our growing and busy team! You will assist Project Managers with daily operations to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Draft correspondence such as submittals, RFP's, and RFI's to assist project managers to keep projects moving.
Allocate resources for assigned projects.
Assist in supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable pricing.
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications.
Continual follow-up with project teams to help manage projects to completion with an ability to work with many different personalities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction management or other related fields (3-5 years preferred).
Healthcare Construction Experience is Beneficial to position.
Familiarity with construction management software.
Strong leadership qualities.
Strong negotiation skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Open-minded self-starter who takes initiative.
Coachable in the AV Way.
